Therapy isn’t just about talking through problems; it’s about creating a connection where your natural capacity for healing can emerge. Together, we co-create this process, helping you reconnect with your own inner authority and build the capacity to navigate life with greater clarity and confidence.
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the primary vehicle for growth. Because many of our deepest wounds develop in connection with others, meaningful repair must happen there, too. Through consistent acceptance and an attuned presence, you can begin to internalize that steadiness—cultivating resilience and strengthening your capacity for meaningful connection to yourself and those around you.
Integration of Depth and Direction
The Soul of the Work
The Soul of the Work:
Intuition, Self-Connection, and Integrated Growth
The heart of deep, lasting work isn’t just about solving problems; it’s about reclaiming your connection to yourself. Often, the “stuckness” we feel is actually a disconnect—a gap between our outer actions and our inner truth. We slow down not just to rest, but to listen to the subtle intelligence of your intuition and body.
A Space for the Unseen: We go beyond the surface of daily life to listen to the quiet, profound signals of your emotional intuition. This is a sanctuary for the parts of you that have felt hidden, disconnected, or misunderstood.
Deep Empathic Presence: We treat your intuition as a legitimate data point, helping you distinguish between the “noise” of anxiety and the quiet, steady “signal” of your authentic self.
Therapy and Coaching
The Balance:
A Dance Between Therapy and Coaching
In our sessions, therapy and coaching are not separate rooms you walk into; they are two sides of the same breath.
Therapy
-
We look at root patterns.
We explore how your past shaped your current self-protection. -
We prioritize regulation.
We soothe the nervous system and heal the "why." -
We focus on self-acceptance.
Learning to be with what is, without judgment.
Coaching
-
We look at emerging potential.
We explore who you are becoming and what you want to create. -
We prioritize agency.
We build the structures and habits that support the "how." -
We focus on empowerment.
Taking intentional steps toward your vision.
Integration
An Integrated Approach:
Where Healing Meets Momentum
The magic happens in the middle. By integrating these two, we ensure your forward momentum (coaching) isn’t just “hustle”—it’s a movement born out of deep self-trust (therapy).
Healing without stagnation: You aren’t just “processing” forever; you are using that healing to fuel your life.
Action without burnout: You aren’t just “doing” for the sake of performance; your actions are rooted in your deepest values and intuitive clarity.
Therapeutic Specialities:
Psychodynamic Therapy
This approach explores the unconscious aspects of the self—such as childhood experiences, defense mechanisms, and hidden emotions, thoughts, and beliefs—that influence daily life.
Internal Family Systems (Parts Work)
IFS helps identify and engage with different parts, or inner voices, within oneself. By recognizing and accepting these internal parts, we can better understand and integrate the complex layers of our experience.
Person-centered Therapy
Also known as a humanistic approach, this modality emphasizes five key principles for emotional healing: unconditional positive regard, empathy, genuineness, active listening, and non-directiveness—creating a supportive space for self-discovery and growth.
Imaginal Psychology
Grounded in the power of dreams, art, and metaphor, imaginal psychology uses symbolic imagery to explore internal struggles. It honors the unconscious as a rich source of meaning and healing through imaginative and symbolic expression.
Therapy is a space for healing, self-discovery, and growth. At Holistic Life Counseling and Coaching, we offer trauma-informed, integrative therapy for individuals navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, low self-worth, and emotional overwhelm. This work supports you in exploring the deeper roots of your feelings—helping you reconnect with your authentic self, heal past wounds, and move forward with greater clarity and purpose.
Whether you’re seeking support for trauma, relationship patterns, inner criticism, or a desire to feel more whole, I offer a compassionate, mind-body approach that honors the full complexity of your experience.
